In this project I chose one of my favorite books as a kid and used it to create with photoshop. The memorable scene chosen to make a composition included a young girl seeing this mysterious white giraffe for the first time. 10 images were pulled in to manipulate with different tools and techniques including object selection tools to create pngs, pen tools to make shadows and highlights, and rearranging with layers to create depth.
SketchUp
About
This project required studying 5 everyday objects to recreate in 3D. The 5 original objects we a lamp, mirror, jar of sugar scrub, mug, and perfume bottle, however more were added to create this scene. Many tools were required to create this diverse set of shapes, these included the follow me tool, push and pull tool, ellipse and rectangle tools, and line tool. To create textures and materials most were imported from outside sources then edited in SketchUp. One example was the perfume bottle where a flower pattern was imported then edited to be transparent to better represent the look of the real bottle.
